This is a rare January 8th, 1959 playbill from the three-night, Pre-Broadway engagement of the JOE MASTEROFF play "THE WARM PENINSULA" at the Auditorium Theatre in Denver, Colorado. (Following a lengthy tour, the production would open October 20th, 1959 at the Helen Hayes Theatre in New York City and run for 86 performances.) ..... The play starred JULIE HARRIS (shown in the cover photo) and featured JOSEPHINE BROWN, STEVE HOLLAND (replaced by LARRY HAGMAN before the Broadway opening), CARROLL BROOKS (replaced by JUNE HAVOC before the Broadway opening), PETER BALDWIN (replaced by FARLEY GRANGER before the Broadway opening), LAURENCE HADDON, MICHAEL QUINLIVAN and THOMAS RUISINGER .....
